By creating an account or using Flowstate Finance, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Flowstate Finance is a personal cash flow forecasting and budgeting tool. It allows you to:

• Track income and expenses
• Forecast future balances based on recurring transactions
• Manage accounts, categories, debts, and savings goals

The service is provided on a free and paid (Pro) subscription basis.

Nothing within Flowstate Finance constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. All projections and forecasts shown are estimates based solely on the data you enter and are provided for informational purposes only.

Flowstate Finance is not a regulated financial service. We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) or any other financial regulatory authority.

You should always seek independent professional advice before making financial decisions.

Flowstate Finance relies entirely on the data you input. We make no representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any forecasts or projections generated. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Flowstate Finance.

The Pro plan is billed monthly or annually as selected. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. Prices are displayed inclusive of applicable taxes.

If your subscription expires or is not renewed, your account automatically reverts to the Free plan. All your data is retained — you will not lose any transactions, accounts, or entries you have saved. You will simply lose access to Pro-only features until you resubscribe. If and when you resubscribe, full access is restored immediately with no need to re-import your data.

We collect only the minimum data required to run your account and store your financial entries for your own use. We do not contact users for marketing. We do not share or sell data to any third party under any circumstances. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flowstate Finance and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, including any financial decisions made in reliance on data or projections shown within the app.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes by email or in-app notice.

Flowstate Finance may offer bank feed integration through Plaid (or similar third-party providers) to automatically import transaction data from your financial institutions. When you connect a bank account, you do so through Plaid’s secure infrastructure.

We never see, access, or store your bank login credentials. Plaid handles the authentication process directly. We receive only transaction data that Plaid transmits to us on your behalf.

You are solely responsible for authorising and revoking bank connections. You may disconnect any linked account at any time from within the app or directly through Plaid. Upon disconnection, we will cease receiving new data from that account.

Plaid is an independent third-party service provider. We are not responsible for Plaid’s availability, accuracy, or security. Your use of Plaid is also subject to Plaid’s own terms of service and privacy policy.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, strict row-level access controls ensuring each user can only access their own records, and regular security reviews.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide your financial data at your own risk.

You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account.

You agree not to: (a) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the service; (b) use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law; (c) attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or disable the service; (d) upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data; (e) reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract source code from the service; (f) scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the service without our express written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account found to be in violation of these terms.
